Kate's Teaching Schedule

Most classes are taught at the Savannah Yoga Center. SYC is located at 1321 Bull Street, please enter through the side door on Anderson Street.

Sunday 5:45 - 7:00 pm Power Yoga - Level 2
If you like Ashtanga, but miss the music, you'll love this class. Power Yoga is based on the ancient Ashtanga yoga tradition of synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures that flow together. In this class we will draw on the traditional Ashtanga sequence but add music and maybe even a few additional poses. Bring a towel and be prepared to sweat.

Monday 7:15 - 8:30 pm Dynamic Flow Yoga
Dynamic flow classes link the breath with the poses to create a challenging moving meditation. The poses and sequencing will be drawn from the Ashtanga Yoga tradition.

Tuesday 4:00 - 4:45 Senior Yoga - Taught at Senior Citizens, Inc. on Bull Street - CANCELLED DURING AUGUST - TO BE STARTED AGAIN SEPTEMBER 23
This is a free class for seniors. Each class begins with some breathing exercises, followed by a series of chair poses. During the class the students progress to some standing poses using the chair for assistance. By the end of the eight week course students should be practicing some poses on the floor and able to get up and down from the floor with ease.
