Kate's Teaching Schedule

My group classes are taught at The Yoga Co-Op at Ashram Savannah. Ashram Savannah is located at 2424 Drayton Street in Starland.

Current Schedule

Tuesday 4:00 - 4:45 pm - Silver Age Yoga - FREE!
This class is exclusively for students over 55 years of age. Each class begins with breathing practices, followed by a series of poses done sitting in a chair. During the class we will progress to standing poses and some poses on the floor. This class is conducted in affiliation with Senior Citizens Inc. Free for seniors 55+.

Tuesday 7:15 - 8:30 pm - Kick Your Asana (HOT)
This is an intense Baptiste Inspired Power Vinyasa (flow) practice that will build flexibility, strength, balance and endurance, challenging both body and mind. We'll crank up the heat, so bring a towel and be prepared to sweat!Thursday

Thursday 4:00 - 5:00 pm - Silver Age Yoga - Level 2
This class is intended for students over 55. We will flow through a series of postures using a chair for support and balance, as needed. The last half of the class is done on the floor/mat. This class is a bit more advanced than the class offered on Tuesdays. Students should be able to get up and down from the floor. $5 for co-op and SCI members, $8 for all others.

Thursday 5:45 - 7:00 pm - Kick Your Asana (HOT)
This is an intense Baptiste Inspired Power Vinyasa (flow) practice that will build flexibility, strength, balance and endurance, challenging both body and mind. We'll crank up the heat, so bring a towel and be prepared to sweat!

Friday 9:30 - 10:30 am - Floor Yoga for Seniors - The Marshes on Skidaway
This is a yoga class targeted at seniors who have the flexibility and strength to get up and down from the floor. Students will be taught breathing practices and postures that will increase flexibility, improve balance, build strength and reduce stress. The class is taught at The Marshes on Skidaway for residents. For more information call (912) 598-5030, extension 227.

Friday 12:15 - 1:15 pm Level 1 Flow Yoga Class
This class is based on the Baptiste Power Vinyasa method, but is intended for students who are newer to yoga or want a gentler class than my more challenging Kick Your Asana clases. If you are interested in Power Yoga and looking for a good place to start, this is the clas for you.

Saturday 9:30 - 10:45 am - Kick Your Asana (HOT)

Private Instruction

I offer one-on-one private yoga instruction at The Yoga Co-op. My one-on-one teaching style focuses on meeting the needs of the individual student.
